What is Suggestive Therapeutics / Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a mental state of focused attention where the client is more receptive to suggestions planted in the Subconscious Mind.

The human mind is split into THREE parts. The Conscious, the Subconscious and the Unconscious. In essence human beings are three brain beings.

The Conscious Mind is the 

judgemental, analytical, reasoning part of our brain. It controls Willpower, Short-Term memory and acts as a sentinel that censors incoming information into the subconscious mind. We think of our Conscious Mind as," Who We Are." Yet, it is only a small part of our, "Being Consciousness."

The Subconscious Mind is the "Hard Drive," of our brain. It controls our emotions, imagination and long term memory. Its main function is to protect us from danger. It does so whether the danger is real or imagined. How our, "Mind Computer" is programmed determines how we feel about ourselves. Often negative beliefs, poor self-image and other limitations all programmed into our Subconscious Mind accidentally in our childhood. Our subconscious mind cannot distinguish between fact and fiction and believes what it is told. Without Question! Unless we 

reprogram our Subconscious Computer we are forced to rely on "Willpower," to affect change of unwanted behaviors. As we all know "Willpower," almost never works! Our New Years Resolutions usually fail within a few weeks, days or even hours after making them. Our imaginative being  is far more powerful than our "Willpower."

SO HOW DOES HYPNOSIS WORK?

The techniques employed by a hypnotist allow for the by-pass of the clients Conscious Mind which is the judgmental, analytical, reasoning part of the brain. Once by-passed, the hypnotist works in the clients subconscious mind or imaginative mind two cause accelerated change of unwanted behavior. Nothing is more powerful! Nothing!

Can I be made to do something against my will?

Absolutely not! A hypnotist acts only as a guide into your subconscious mind. We do not have special magical powers. The client is always in control.
